At Next Gen Performance, we make transmission swaps simple. Traditionally, these swaps involve a lot of guesswork, incorrect parts, and endless fabrication time. With years of hands-on installation experience, our in-house team has developed complete transmission swap packages that remove all the hassle and uncertainty.

Our Stage 1 TH400 Package includes a TH400 built by Proformance Race Transmissions, rated to 850 horsepower.
Each unit features:

• Transbrake valve body

• Direct drum modified for instant transbrake release

• Clutch packs and unit end play clearance set for “low drag”, friction-free performance

Package Includes:

• Proformance TH400 Transmission

• Neal Chance Torque Converter – custom spec’d to your application

• SFI Flywheel (8-bolt)

• SFI Bellhousing (pre-mated to transmission)

• Flexplate Bolts

• Transmission Mount

• B&M Transmission Cooler with fittings and 20 ft of cooler lines

• Hurst Shifter

• Custom Built PST Driveshaft with billet yoke

• Flexible Braided Dipstick

• ARP Converter Bolts

• All required adapters and installation hardware

Optional Add-On:

Upgrade with an AEM X-Series Transmission Temperature Gauge for precise, real-time monitoring.
These gauges combine advanced features and high visibility in a slim design:

• Auto-dimming sensor for ideal brightness

• 87% larger programmable center LED

• Standard or metric readout (100–300°F / 40–150°C)

• User-selectable threshold warnings

• Peak/recall via face buttons

• AEMnet CANbus-enabled for EMS or data logger integration
